Celine's BABY BUMP!!
Celine & I went to the new IKEA that just opened. Wow It was crowded but the store is so big you really don't notice. Celine, bought these shelves. So, as a project durning my stay we painted them. She is going to hang them in the boys room to be used as book shelves. I think they look great----I might have to steal your idea Celine.
Lane wanted to paint too. Here he is painting rocks. Good job Lane
Gage ended up painting himself.

LOVE THIS PICTURE
Vance, Celine, boys and myself went up to Copper Mountain to where Doyle Dykes and Neal were attending a music festival called "Guitar Town". This was Doyle's 1st appearance there, and he recieved numerous & the only standing ovations. His music touched the hearts of numerous world class Guitar players. Also appearing was Larry Carlton, who is known worldwide for his "Cool Jazz' guitar style. Remember the song "Sleepwalk", that's Larry Carlton. It was especially great to be with him again and at this event he used our orange Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Amphilfier on stage....and signed our Gibson ES-135. Doyle and Neal met Larry for the 1st time earlier this year in Seal Beach, California at a benefit gig. We are told since their first meeting Larry has opened all his shows with a gospel song.
Larry asked Doyle to join him at the end of his set and they played "Amazing Grace". This is the 3rd time they have appeared together, and all three times they have played the hymn. Larry says it makes the hair stand up on his arms, a emotional event for him. Another footnote, Michele Pillar, Larry's wife now has a deal to publish her story with Moody Publishing. Doyle's book with Moody and his friendship with Steve Lyon, made it possible, or shall we say, God arranged this all.
At the end of the festival, all the artists had a big jam session. Here is Doyle with John Jorgenson....another world class picker, and person who is going to be on Doyle's TV show.
Gage----Grandpa's guitar helper......never to young to start loving guitar's
