ROAD TRIP---'BLACK HILLS, SOUTH DAKOTA'

Can't remember when we very first started talking about making this road trip to Black Hills with Bill & Teri Meier??  Finally our calendars worked and we made the trip over Labor Day weekend.  Here are the memories.................

 We arrived in Badlands National Park at dusk, it was beautiful as the sun was setting.  BEWARE!

 I have wandered about Sturgis??!! Nothing like I imagined.  It's just a little town that comes alive with attractions.  If your a Mustang lover this was the place to be.

Deadwood South Dakota.......Here is the exact spot where Wild Bill Hickok was shot.    Because of Wild Bill,  Neal (Jim) doesn't like sitting with his back to the door in any restaurant!!!!

We took time to drive to Devils Tower National Moument in Wyoming.....WOW

 OK...these mules & donkeys were here when I was a little girl waiting for their next hand out.  This guy would have followed me inside the car if he could.   I loved it!!!

Along the Needles Highway

 This dogie had it made.  His little compartment was heated.

 On the way home we stopped by Lewis & Clark Dam.  The power of the water was tremendous.  You can't capture the force on picture.

We had a great time!!!!!   Ready for the next road trip????
